It's a good concept, but needs to be finished or properly scanned. A good concept is normally straight on front and side views, next to each other and all the features line up. This is the best kind of concept to get you rolling and actually build off of. They normally don't look "dynamic" but they work well for the 3D… -

What modeling application do you use? Softimage XSI What pluses and minuses does it have? Great, intuitive modeling package that is unbeatable with the right hotkeys set Why would you suggest it for a beginner? Its ease. Pit against a program like Lightwave or Maya, its the best modeling package. Not sure how it compares… -

Im using tiling textures on large rocks (think cliff faces) and there is a common workflow where when you still need to have edge wear on large rocks, you use masks in conjunction with your tiling textures so they can blend better. Then on a separate texture map you have masks for edge wear, AO, dirt or whatever else.… -
zbrush edit greyed out
my brushes and my edit is greyed out. I can't zoom in or rotate anything either, if I press in screen all I get are duplicates of my model. I can clear them with ctrl + N but can't do anything else. How do i get my brushes to work? -

you can try corona scatter. I found it very handy for simple tasks. It comes with corona render engine. It has straight forward workflow and quite simple to use this plug-in. Also you can give it a try with array mod (depends what you want), but array is array and scatter is something else. cheers! -M. -
