As far as I know you can only have one options box open at a time. I think your best option would be to set up a few shelf buttons: One each for X, Y, and Z planar mapping, and unfold. Take a look at the script editor to retrieve some of the commands as you use them.
All added! Yeah I think it's because livestream was around first/alot more popular than others a few years ago. I'm tempted to become an annoying justin/twitch evangelist who harasses livestream users to jump ship. I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING ITS ALL FUZZY Y U NO HD!
I'm not a character / creature artist but this reminds me of a character a good friend of mine who's also a member on this forum previously did. http://dropr.com/vickgaza/14827/spider_queen_-_realtime/+?p=197278 He has some really nice shapes, it's worth using as reference, inspiration and for generating some ideas :) Keep…
Easiest way is to have the camera actor pull only the X value of your pawns current position (if sidescroller is travelling on X, Y in the other case) and set the camera's position per frame. To make it smoother you could lerp from previous position to next in case frame rate isn't something you'd like to rely on.

The 'up' direction on the drip comes from the generated position map. When you look at the Position baker in the 'Scene Information Baking' dialog you can see that it's possible to change the axis to something other than Y. For a model laying flat you can change it to Z or X to change the direction of drips and other…
For Hero Academy we did as Odium suggested. I created a MaxScript that could import a folder of images as planes. Since we used a 2D game engine, I also created a MaxScript that exported the animations as 2D data. (Only XZ Position and Y rotations.) Video https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2904948/Sketches/jrm_Taunts.mov
Hi guys, thanks for your replies very helpful. My friend at work was also able to help me solve it by attacking the problem in a different way. ConvertSelectionToFaces; $selectedObject = `polyProjection -ch 1 -type Planar -ibd on
-kir -md y`; setAttr ($selectedObject [0] + ".projectionHeight")
400; setAttr…
One thing I just noticed, you modelled the inside of her ear but the anatomy's way off. It's missing a lot. I don't know that actual names but the part that's mostly missing is the lower-case y shaped bit of the ear. And her earlobes probably need to be a tiny bit bigger. But these are very minor quibbles, hehe.
