Either way, you'd end up with an original piece that the AI created using human art. I don't know if its fair, but I don't see it as being illegal either because to do so would mean you'd have to classify a lot of human art as also being illegal because most of what we do is, in some way or another, based off tons of art…
this to me looks like prop dressed up as an environment, not because of its side but because it doesnt look like the parts would be very re-usable or easily made into components. apart from that pretty good bake although i would have spent more on the floor esp the broken front
I don't like the designs of the Tranformers from the movie. Its not so much that they've changed from their original incarnations and more the fact that theres way too much noisy detail on the robotic body parts. I'm inclined to agree with grumpy pants here. This movie ain't going to be much good.
perhaps a suggestion to make the workflow easier and to have a cleaner mesh (it is not right now): - break it up into parts - like the doors, the hood, ect. just like you modeled the wheels seperate (you wouldn´t do that from the car mesh now woudn´t you?) - now what that changes is that you dont have to redicoulus cuts…
I have been working on this for a while and thought it would be a good idea to show it to some people for a fresh perspective. Would loves some feedback particularly on the shape languagee since it is still pretty placeholdery so it can be changed. Would also love some advice on techniques for the fur. Will upload progress…
Nice character! When sculpting the blank try and relax the pose. Feet apart and splayed. Hips slightly forward, arms 45 degrees and hands relaxed and or fingers splayed to combat the rake look of the fingers in the end result. With the hips forward turn the figure to the side view and balance out the shoulders (backwards)…
I have started blocking out the hard surface prop but I'm having a tough time interpreting the materials. Does this interpretation seem correct? The darker parts of the pedestal could also be black marble instead of concrete but pedestals usually have a strong concrete base to protect metals and wood from moisture.
I have looked everywhere but I cant seem to find a document that explains this process. So I have come to the place that seems to have the best collection of knowledgeable artists. I am starting to get to part of my game where we need 3d models. My question is in regards to how this is done. I have the desire to make…
I'm doing Kaneda's motorcycle from Akira for subd modelling using Maya. Next week I'll do all the inner parts (the motor and the parts that attach the wheels to the motorcycle). What I don't like: - The topology of the sides of the body, I think it's a bit messy. - The topology of the part that hides the connections…
Watch that top and bottom piece on the metal part. You should try and keep parts that are the same... part... the same size. That made no sense? Try and keep your metal parts as close to size on your UV sheet, as they are on the mesh... (eg. the top and bottom pieces look thinner than they actually are on your mesh). When…
