Super weird. I'm running Win 8.1 64-bit as well. Also got PS installed on my SSD. Does it matter if you start Photoshop by launching the SUITE or launching Photoshop and THEN the SUITE? -

All done procedurally via Substance Designer. My son Jonas and I decided to play around with the settings a bit! Another try at it. Pretty good this go round I think. Feedback appreciated. -

I don't know how much SSDs fix this, but with all that data being shoved around...8k texture and such, wouldn't we start seeing the bottleneck shift to read/write speeds from disk? -

Good point Noors. I was trying to avoid making the image larger than it already is, but I guess I really shouldn't leave that out. Here is the tutorial with the final result and a sans-serif font. -
