I've never used it but it could be something hacky Seneca's done as part of his script. Are you using it in 401? I'm not sure he's updated his scripts for the latest version yet - could be a bug introduced there.
Bringing this back from the dead as none of my attempts to use scripts I've found online work. Can anyone point me in the direction of a "Convert Ring to Perfect Circle" type script for Maya? Thanks!
Awesome script , the preview works 10/10 !! But as a feedback when pressing finalize i am getting this error : // Error: line 57: Invalid flag '-depth' but thanks a lot for the script <span> </span>
Oops, sorry that Bake script is for baking mesh animation, not for baking bones. Sorry for sending you down the wrong path there. Try Sergio Mucino's script instead.... http://www.maxtd.com/Scripting.html ...hope it works for ya.
whoa floating panel I hear? I might be interested in this as well even though I don't work with maya. Do you script it with python or is there another way of adding custom panels with script- buttons?
Was using Tr3b's python scripts for blender, but they didn't load anything just stopped at a point in code. Same thng with max 8 scripts. I guess I try to find some Blender guys. - eRat
Lots of scripts out there, should save a lot of time. http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/spline-fibers Scriptspot is a great resource for 3ds Max. I searched "wire" to find that one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUAxdxkJVws
That automated atlas script looks very messy, moving UVs "by hand" isn't hard to do at all, especially compared to moving vertices in 3d space. If you need to rely on automated scripts your just putting yourself at a disadvantage.
This probably doesn't help, as it's for Max, but there's a script called 'Hide Longest Edges' which removes the long edges in the poly and reverts everything to four sided quads (most of the time). http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/hide-longest-edges
Not to dig up a dead horse, but I came across this thread in a search for this topic. Here are a few Maxscripts to use for tri-to-quad conversion: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/quadrangulate http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/quadrifyall
