Hey guys, recently started up this little project and looking for some critique! Not sure whether i should use the legs in the concept or use a wheel? Basically what I'm trying to go for is something I can rig and animate without spending to much time on it. The idea of the wheel is to try give it a more goofy/playful feel…
Here is the selection, please select your overall favorite. Just to you, what feels best/natural/coolest in general for what would be a real living creature, but also a character you might like to play in a game, and stare at for a long time while doing so. Between this and a few other sites, I hope the internet will help…

I also have dungeon designs I've drafted that i'd be willing to share once I refine the included place…
Welcome to polycount! And what a great first post, the Tyrannosaurus! I'm partial to the Allosaurus myself - but to each his own :). The head looks good, but the rest of the body is far too basic and underdeveloped. The legs look short and bulky rather than powerful and toned. Rex may have been believed (by some) to be a…
Mark Dygert hit most of the PS cliffnotes -that 70% keep drawing pertains to quite alot especially when it comes to form recognition- which IMO comes in real handy when modeling. It's sort of a cyclical effect where one improves the other, when it comes to 2d/3d. As far as design goes- the best designers I've seen go…
This is an interesting one cause I think at the time it was fairly advanced. Alone in the Dark 1, circa 1992...it had pretty decent pixel-painted backgrounds with like first generation 3D poly characters. I don't even think they had texture maps...just vertex colors. I'm pretty sure it was also the first "survival horror"…
