Thats a cool concept and a nice direction with the texturing. Whats the story behind it? Is it a modified manufactured tree or has the tech and the tree grown together or something? Im having trouble understanding the story of it, at the moment I am siding on modified. -

Really excellent, I love the boney textures, its looking great. I think the metal's a bit bland right now though. You could perhaps mix in some bottley greens, blues and browns like the ref? -

Nice work, I really love it. The last shot (the hands) could be improved. Maybe adding some garden furniture in the background or a little turtle house for one of the turtles would make the scene a bit les green and brown. -

Saw this in WAYWO and Holycrapthatlooksnice. Those rocks are the most beautiful rocks I've ever seen. I actually agree with leaving the sky and ground mostly plain. It stuck out to me at first... but now the idea has grown on me. -

It's awesome to see so many people involved in here :) There has never really be a great place for Character artist to grown and learn, aside from open forum where they get their teeth kicked in daily. I like this thread. -

Agreed this is fantastic, the single thread however great it has been was starting to feel pretty crowded. I think individual threads however they are approached will at least lead to more direct and helpful criticism and all the goods mentioned above ^ -

Came out really well, maybe use some more browns/rust to pop shapes a little bit? Like on the curved cable and vents and such where there is thin, easy to corrode metal. Nit picky for an overall awesome piece. :) -

re-apply, if they contacted you before, it means before your were at-least good enough to spark some interest, so if you show you grown and gotten better since than you might get the job. -

i like it a lot but i think he needs to look scarier.. apart from the horns he's just an old man right now. angry eyebrows and a judge dredd-frown on his mouth should do the trick
