Hey guys here are a couple more images produced for this cyberpunk project I'm messing around with. Thanks for the kind words by the way :) . Another quick character design idea - And a weapon concept. Really trying to maintain that 80's vibe so used a bunch of 80's black plastic electronics as reference. Really fun!…
I've noticed that 70-80s were using mostly a simple geometric shapes, too many elements for the 70-80s sci-fi logotype on my previous shots. Past logo were looking more like a handwritten logo, so I decided to change it into a something more like corporation logo, referenced from such a movies as Blade Runner/Dune, etc.
Your max poly per mesh is 80 million. Your current mesh is 26 million. 26m x 4 is greater than 80 million, so it's working correctly. Since it appears as though you have separate polygroups, I'd recommend just splitting them into different subtools where you can utilize your 80m limit to them individually.
I am attaching a sample file. http://www.filefront.com/14875389/scene03.max You can save animations frames 0-30, 40-70, 80-100. And try to reload either 40-50 or 80-100 and see if works for you. And try it with Motion Mixer too. Probably you will see some error with animation or with sample file, and come to some…
funny concept my buddy drew a few years ago I wanted to share but notice in the drawing that rugged early 80's look versus the real megaman which still has that anime style in the center. Your going more for that early 80's look and you can see more what I mean by shine/highlight points in your diffuse with this image
I wanted to build a first person weapon for my portfolio but also do something that would stand out a little. The idea is inspired by the kinds of things kids draw in their notebooks in school, and also battlebots (but with people!). Also, if you ever saw that Simpsons episode where Bart and Lisa are swinging their arms…
Great project @srinivasjlkm! A lot of solid iteration at techniques. About 80% there. Couldn't resist doing a quick paintover pass to get it closer to 90% without much work. 1. Your fog cards were quite sporadic creating some muddle lighting tones and colors. Once cleaned up and colors and lighting brought together the…
Had a pleasure of contributing an article to 80 Level regarding the workflow I used for my latest fan art of Shirogane-sama's Asuka cosplay! All done in Blender, except texture in Painter. Article link - https://80.lv/articles/realistic-evangelion-s-asuka-reimagined-in-blender-substance-3d-painter/ More highres renders are…
@BIGTIMEMASTER Thanks for your feedback on this and my older Savanna piece. @Ashervisalis Thanks! Added you on LinkedIn :) @jStins Yes! I've learned so much since then. You can check out my 80 level breakdown of the scene here, I give away everything I've learned here:…
Got to say I was disappointed. I think they nailed that 80's visual style, but I was hoping the movie itself would be played with a straight face. Personally, I found the trailer to be much better than the full movie since it didn't try as hard to be funny. It needed more of "I was struck by lighting and bitten by a cobra"…
