Right now PSP is at steal at $40, but will go back up to $100 in a day or so. Elements is $50 and will go back up to $100 in a couple days. Sale ends for both Nov 30th. So make your choice now. Go DL the demos...
I really dont get why Fred's answer to you, Emil was so..cold. Is it that hard to give 50% compensation? I mean, yea they need bandwidth, but it's OUR work that bring the people to THEIR site. Meaning without the little guys they wouldn't be getting the traffic.
Your best bet is to use the offset tool in Photoshop set to 50% of the size of your texture, 64*64 if your texture is 128*128 for example. This will move the outer edges of the texture into the middle, so it's easy to see where you've got seam problems.
Rad computer! I've never seen one of these before, such a funky design. I do agree that there is something off about the keys and I think that the lip you have it too strong in comparison to the reference image. I would reduce it down by about 50%
well 43 year old me will still watch it so there:) can't believe danny john jules who plays the cat is now 50. TBh I am sure it won't be 'that' good, but its nice to watch in the absence of anything great coming through.
Can you try running it in windows 7 compatibility mode? Also, can I see what your models tab looks like? I have run ~50 bakes continuously without issue using multiple sets of project files/models.
1440p is perfect for working on textures, on 1080p textures at 1024x1024 at 100% or 2048 at 50% start to clip the top and bottom of the UI in Photoshop and other apps. 27in monitors are fine if you have a big desk, 2 of them can take up a lot of space.
One thing that would be useful would be a transform dialog of some sort. Something that would bring up a text input window for movement/scale/rotation. That way I can offset duplicate UVs by 1 or scale them down exactly 50% or whatever.
I already picked up a 500 gb drive to try to boot XP. I also have another back up USB drive and I just bought 50 DVDR's for another form of backup. My next form of backup is a laptop:). B
ok yeah if together you are making 50+ then you will be fine. I mean I made it my last year in school making less than 30k in san diego and i am married and have a child... Life wasn't too glamerous though..
