If you have linked your personal node library to SD you should be able to see your node in both the side menu and by typing it in the spacebar search. If you haven't, just add all your custom nodes to a folder. Then go to tools/properties/project then scroll all the way down to the Library section and link to your node…
Awesome stuff! SOMA is probably one of the few games where you can't get a good look at the character models in-game; it's almost strange to see them clearly in renders like this. As a side note if you've got SOMA installed the supersecret.rar in the game's folder contains tonnes of concept art (inc the character's in this…
Congrats, Skrubbles, this one came out great! The face is superb. The arms strike me as the weakest part of the character. The FFX esque sleeve looks out of place, and the other arm is rather dull. Nothing wrong, they just don't seem to be on par with the rest of the model. Saved to reference folder for sure.
well, be careful loading in old user data. i used to apply my customized zbrush layout simply by switching out the zstartup folder. this has worked for years in 2.x, 3.x an onwards. doing that in 4R3 breaks the activation (!). yet another Zfuckup, they keep adding up.
Nice. I have a folder titled "XGP15A-2" in my "to model" directory. I think it's a good start. Like throttlekitty said, I think they are some area that detract a little from the overall likeness of the model, but other than that I think it's pretty good and recognizable. Keep going.:)
Thats so damn cool;) thanks alot man ( I love visual suggestions, and making the example exaggerated, is perfectiomundo! ) again thnx alot:) I just went through his entire gallery... it's amazing:D thnx man:) *grabs all the art he made for my Inspirational Folder*
A little progress tonight. Spent most of my time relearning some stuff, doing UI config, and trying (failing) to get zbrush to run startup according to my preferences. Oh well. Also got around to dropping in my zmaterials folder. Ahhhh. So much better. :P
i got both my game jobs from a recommendation from a friend, a website link and resume sent via email. in my interview i brought a porfolio book and a folder filled with images on a laptop. Cory Robinson Game Artist it may not be the case, but they are your teachers and they give the grade.
when you scale an object in mudbox it still thinks its as small as it was before the scale, so that means your brushes may start acting weird. after the scale, export it and import it back in. you can reset mud by deleting your mudbox folder in your "my documents" location.
I have the Light map res to 256 on those models. I tried putting a grey material on the walls, and that didn't seem to help. So... yeah, textures are wip obviously, but until it is fixed here it is http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4593834/DentBlock.zip made in June UDK place in content folder
