yea that ZB tut for the rock face is awesome, done by a guy from weta digital, the technique is pretty simple and easily applicable to some modular rock pieces. -

Thanks guys, it's hard to find actual brickwork references of york minster for my project, might have to go up there with a digital camera and take some snaps. -

Get Eat3D's intro to Zbrush or one of Digital Tutors introductory one. I think they have one specifically aimed at teaching different techniques for the same thing. -

@melviso That's what I was told by the company helping me with the process. Pretty sure any digital arts falls under graphic design for simplicity of explaining it to people. -

There are brushes in photoshop, and custom brushes in which to do that.... they blend like paint but its not traditional feeling as say Corel Painter, both digital. Its all in the bushes. -

Jeff Patton's digital sets and master zap fxphd class are probably the best i ve seen for mr (in 3ds max) try to check them out..
