Im in chapter 3. So far it's the best looking game this gen imo. Character animations are so great. And the constant quality of the textures and materials is unbelievable. Congrats to anyone who worked on this.
Ok a bit off topic, but why is it that all shots from the xbox360 are either obviously 'improved' promotion screenshots, or quite 'underwhelming'. Even the new FF looks not very 'next-gen'
...and i like chicken pie. Unfortunately my computer doesnt have the spoecs to run any next gen game ... but from the critics i heard it seems to be well deserved the upgrade!
I don't see a whole lot of modding in the future period myself . Look at how few mods there are for Doom 3 ..and all the Next Gen games are going to be like that sooner or later
if the model isn't great the only thing you can really do to make it look better (without actually making it look better) is to obscure it more. @teodar23 Ah thanks, I may've had something else in mind, still food for thought especially for those like myself that are without access too current gen tools and low spec hardware.
Well, make a next gen tank.. I guess if you properly optimize it there is nothing wrong with just pushing the limit a bit and aiming with a higher polycount. Looks sweet so far btw!
Thanks for that Mop, great info very informative, and great assets. I seriously believe you guys set a higher bar this year for current gen fps games in terms of visual quality.
