Likely the reason for the lack of white/black skins is due to the guidelines: http://blog.counter-strike.net/workshop/faq.php#weapons. Granted, your weapon isn't PURE white, it may still be hard on the eyes in-game. Best of luck, though!
Well, I'm still awaiting Tax Verification Info but I have submitted! Thanks for all the feedback and good luck. Lots of great entries! Workshop Link- http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=323019623 Thanks again!
Here is the final submission ! Steam Workshop link --- Ornamental set for the Agatha Knight - contains an armet and a longsword --- Thank you all for the constructive criticism and feedback ! It has been a great contest, with a lot of things learned along the way.
This was done at a 3 hour uninstructed workshop class.....and I still don't know how to render with charcoal pencil, according to my instructors. So that gives you an idea of what kind of talent I go up against.
Sculpt looks cool and reads pretty clean. Texture is a good start but I 'd definitely recommend you to push it a bit more, try googling the Dota 2 workshop texturing guide for some ideas, since you have a similar style going on.
Finally released into Early Access: http://store.steampowered.com/app/431960/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTJaUz1vzz4 Current support for .obj and .fbx 3D scenes, workshop items can be monetized, what else do you need to know? Oh its $4!
well, ive been talking a while to him on steamchat and it seems that they wana create a market in india for dota2 stuff, they want a courier for a tourney that is coming soon. sets and single items for the workshop (alot of those) and also some items for their tshirt bundles that they sell on their webpages.
So here is the finished ogre.. we ended up making both weapons, Koi fish and the golden cat club but we kind of ran out of time.. anyway, criticism is always welcome Link on workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=378375616
there is also the steam workshop, if you get your stuff in. it still is highly profitable. But of course there is the risk of not getting anything in. but seriously if you pick your job just based on the money you can potentially make, probably its best to search somewhere else.
There's no support for that for workshop submissions, if I'm understanding you correctly. The only thing you can do is add selfillum to the masks, and that is not really a 'glow' it just causes the texture to not react to light as much. There's no custom particles/effects yet and you can't edit the materials either
