The vertex blend shader does blend between two separate normal maps the brick normal and a separate moss normal.Its controlled by vertec colour R channel multiplied with its AO. No worries....:)
I like how no one is listening that everything is free for autodesk for students. and r and s for scale and rotate don't make sense, they are far apart, you want the keys for certain controls grouped.

Thanks for the quick reply. Seems to be ctrl+shift+alt to smooth zoom tho. I had been using ctrl+r to rotate. It's always good to learn other ways tho, thanks ^_^

That trick (packing AO into blue) doesn't work with a lot of the best normal map compression formats (DXn, 3Dc, etc_ - because they toss the blue, store R & G at higher precision and reconstruct.
