Awesome, thanks Slainean! I knew it was possible, I just had no idea how you would actually do it. I actually have a boolean for the battery, since you 'give' it to a nearby robot to power it on. I'll give your solution a try ASAP and get back. Thanks!
Easy...Grimlock comes to earth as one of those robotic meteor things. Crashes through the roof of the Natural History Museum. Sees a big model TRex. Decides...Whoa...Cool. "Grimlock SMASH!" Or..Or... He crashes through the roof of a cinema doing re-runs of Jurrasic park. Simples..
Nice post Per. Yeah, I agree. Most of the books I read are pure pulp. I find it hard to feel like an intellectual when I am reading a books about a dude in a robot suit ripping the arms off giant ants with his bare hands.
I can't help but feel that google is trying to slowly take over the world. the symbol that they show on http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/8139711.stm looks like a robotic eye waiting to track everything you do and turn all the electronics in your house against you.
Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone could help me with blocking out mecha type robots been struggling to get started with this piece from Marc Brunet, any help would be great! I wanna use Zbrush or Maya to do the high poly model. Marc Brunets, Shifts end concept art.
haha wat The plot thickens. /do want larate costume EDIT: I think this new weapon will have to do something with anti-aerial artillery. The monkey was going to space, and Hale is to blame for the explosion. Also, did you notice how often the word robot appears on the Science board?
Hello Rukasu, You have a nice portfolio! i like it if you have interest, I can offer you to make models of robots, mech, cyborgs by art, and other sci-fi things in the small game about space adventures (UE) Just send me PM for details
Thanks Rusty! Here's a shot of the mood lighting and Dutch angle I'm trying to hit, I'm not happy with the placement of the robot and the helmet I think they could be more dynamic!, also shadowing is terrible on this with the cross shadows, I've been looking into lighting tutorials, Thanks for the feed back so far!
My advice would be to scrap everything, register on ArtStation and fill it up with some quality assets. If you don't want to do that then just merge the "movie" and "home" pages. And please, take out that robot, it just shows your lack of topology understanding. The sheriff is a much better character
I'm thinking that for the next step I'll be transforming the scene into a mech repair shop with some robotic arms and stuff. Hopefully with that I can make the scene really come to life and tell a story. If anyone has any comments or a better idea on how to improve it please feel free to comment.
