Some things to think of are who built the shrine and who did they build it for? For example in fantasy worlds it should be easy to tell the difference between Elven and Dwarven architecture, they reflect the race. Elven architecture is expected to be delicate and swooshy while Dwarven stuff is sturdy and heavy looking.
The Gun in the OP and the Door wireframe. The rest including the environment is pretty straight forward. Nice work. EDIT: CV and the requested stunts are not what I wanted to see, since my prospective on game development starts and ends at the fantasy (for now) It is something you should look in to.
I guessed what it was before I clicked the link. I knew what it was as soon as those big manga eyes opened. I didn't realize what was really going on until she started running around. This FPS falls into the "fantasy" genre I think.
Fantasy/Medieval MMORPGs. Don't get me wrong there are some really well done one's out there, but for fucks sake we need some new styles! It's like they're trying to beat WWII shooters and space marines for the title of most played out genre.
Really nice texture work on the gladius! Are you going for a realistic look or stylized fantasy game look? For a realistic blade I think there would be less stony flavor on the metal, in terms of grain and cracks, and a lot more light scratches. Triangulation seems fine to me.
Got into the 3dTotal gallery If you like, you can vote for my image via this link: http://www.3dtotal.com/galleries/image/Fantasy/7363-prey-hunt-by-arnaud-lonys-tgc2016-ifcc-bird-lion-tiger-scavenger-forest-creature-substance-keyshot-zbrush
@tda - funny that you mentioned shoulder pads. I actually had a crude shoulder pad design in an earlier version of this character. but decided to scrap the idea because he ended up looking like a fantasy rogue rather then a ninja. but ninja stars are definitely a must! =P
Looking nice but not as a city but as a miners outpost or something like that :) There some things that bother me one of them is railroads without any support constructions and that hurts my eyes. I admit this is a fantasy but anyway we need to put some logic to get a plausible stuff. Cheers.
Its dead. Im more to Fantasy/Medieval than to real life worlds. Sorry. But I keep in mind this. I just need more experience in level design to do such work. And scene from Division will be done, I just need more experience. Trust me.
i really love the character - he looks a very modernized fantasy that appeals to me, a sort of anime meets web design or indie music art. it reminds me of a friend's work: www.pipoart.com very nice start so far, i hope you'll continue to work on it.
