Actually I was hoping that I could use my 2.0 license to use 1.8 at least on my laptop to do some basic work at least with NDO. The problem is that I'm traveling a lot and love to do some basic work. Because 1.8 3DO works fine on my laptop I could then at least do some work. I'm unable to change hardware on my Laptop… -

Its quite clear why companies do art tests and what their purpose is - really no mystery here -, but as an artist even if you pass the art test you might not get hired as someone else who passed it might get the job after the interviews. Are you saying your feedback on the test is worth several days of work form another… -

Even though a lot of people here are saying you don't need a mentor, I'd highly suggest, at least, making some skilled friends. Sending your stuff to other modelers who are your friend (whether on Facebook or irl) will get you more critique than if you just post stuff online. I wouldn't say get a mentor right away, else… -

Thermidor, I own two *VA panels(dell 2408wfp, asus p201), and they are both great. Wonderfull colors, sharpness and viewing angles. VA panels have long been the reasonable alternative to the ultra expensive IPS panels, and honestly i'm not sure why anyone would spend twice the money or more on an ips panel. Apple and NEC… -
