took a break from the shield and just started doodle something and it turned out like this. day 4. Will continue on the shield tomorrow (later today :S). Yeah will try adding som stuff from the sword to the shield so the look like a pair. Hah, digg that wierd helmet. -

Here's an update regarding the shields! Just one more shield to go which I would like to put at the foreront to replace the shield leaning on the anvil. This will have more heraldry and look unique, as if a recent work by the blacksmith. -

Huzzah! I believe I have the shield all finished Here's a detail of the texture - an area that I was pretty happy with. Just all of poppy's shields side by side by side to compare for style And a quick shot of poppy with the new shield in place. -

Thanks for your opinion. Do you dislike the shape of the shield - that it is round instead of a more 'triangular' one? As for colors they are straight from the DK palette. If you check out other shields you will notice that no other shield resembles the 'color hotspots' of the original. -
