jesse: you're saying call studios around where you live and ask them how much they pay even if they're not considering you for any position? yeah i don't think thats going to work like... 99.8% of the time. stuff like this really isn't public, if you really want to know how much u should be getting find someone you know in…
Some times ago I suddenly noticed how really good my assets and materials looked back at the time when it was simply Zbrush sculpt +vertex paint + a few subtle Photoshop touches . A workflow I abandoned around 2008. Zbrush forces you to make art decisions , to evaluate your every touch carefully . Super inconvenient micro…
you are comparing your MD viewport to a refined zbrush sculpt. If you can get most of the way with MD that is probably as good as you'll get. It is likely the artist spent a few hours (or days) finishing up in zbrush. you can do a bit of sculpting in MD using steam tool to expand or contract specific spots. But its a lot…
Lol I hope this guy didn't kill himself due to all the negative feedback... Dude, get rid of all the shit you stole and start to work on your stuff seriously. update, got the sword ingame, just working on some tweaks on the helmet and then i can get into detail texturing. FYI for anyone working on the broadsword, the root jnt has a scale of 2.54 that you will have to change to 1 before export to get the scale correct. I'm going to double check that solution with someone from…

Well ... to some extent you've pretty much answered your own question already : you get the output from Wrap, then attach it to whatever body you need it to be attached to (either by actually welding verts, or by just manipulating normals at the edges to make things visually seamless). Wrap3 doesn't "autoretopo" anything…
