PyrZern, tks! Here are some blockout, I'm horrible sketching so try out something in 3d and I think the option a have more potential, what do you guys think?
You may have missed the boat on the whole blockout concept. It was really meant to happen WITHIN unreal. All this max stuff is cute, but not the answer you're looking for for accurate final presentation and scale.
Thanks, Beefaroni. I can't seem to find that post. But here's an update of better blockout and some placeholder assets. Getting the camera to look exactly like the reference is trickier than I expected.
Could you post some wireframes? I'd really like to know how you would begin to work on and blockout a larger scene like this as I am in need of some portfolio work
The work goes on. After the main blockout in A pose I started to put in the main pose. started working on the anatomy. I feel like it's gonna be a long process. god bless me. some shots
I've actually been trying to do something like Autocon said. Though I just keep saving and hopefully at the end of the project, do a gif/video from blockout to finished piece.
The blockout looks cool, subbed! The head is certainly a lot smaller in the concept. but you could scale it down like 15% to have some stylization but not begin to look so disproportionate if that's not your goal.
Blockout looks good, the props are awesome dude! Would like to see more things added to the scene to break it up a little, like those telephone/eletricity poles from the original concept
blockout is nice (love the chandelier) and description sounds wonderful I haven't seen anyone do this type of environment before so that's cool as well. nice break from sci-fi x :)
nah your on the right track, blockout basic shapes, put in LP layer duplicate and put in new HP layer model highpoly using LP as starting point remodel or amend LP
