Day 4. So. On monday i need to draw 50 people poses 5min each, 10 ended photoshop paintings, self portrait, 2 projects of rotoscopy in AE, 2 animations-20 sec of robot and 15 of facial, and poses one. AAAAAAA!!!! Dunno when I`ll show next progress. Hate mondays.
Amusing that running aero would makes things faster, heh. On that note: the latest update for Win7 when I just got my laptop made it so single-colour backgrounds made booting up about 15 seconds slower, heh. So loading a big image into memory actually made booting up faster!
I tried that method and it didn't work. I am using 2015 not 14 so I'm not quite sure if that makes a huge difference but I will keep looking. Some of those a kind of complicated for me but I will try. Remember I am 15 and have been self taught so I don't know most of the tricks.
That's nice. The chubiness of his face makes him look a bit younger than the ref I think. He looks 15-17yo in the ref but yours looks more like 12. He also seems a bit taller on the ref but I can be wrong. Not really important if you're not going for a 100% accurate reproduction though.
I tried to let Maya Open for 15 minutes, just in case it might only be the first few minutes, but nope, It will stay at 1 FPS all the time, everything that I do even clicking or rotating camera or moving camera would have a 1 second or 2 second delay. and skipping instead of doing it smoothly

maybe $300, considering the circumstances, is what I would charge, but then more for the next model if he likes the quality. When I started I billed $15/hr, but made sure I only charged for hours of intense work. Later, once I had more clients and a proven history I charged more.
Great topic - Ive wondered about this also. Im no amazing 2d artist, but I usually sketch everything I model first, sometimes with 3-15 different revisions. If the sketches are part of the design process for a finished 3d model, would it help to show just to illustrate the workflow or the fact its an original design? -N!
