Re: How to Approach Glass in Substance Painter?
I'm gonna render this in Marmoset and maybe Unreal Engine 4. I was thinking a slight emissive glow around the edges and yes I will add some dirt stains on the glass most likely. I'm not too familar with in engine shaders, but an emissive map is a good option I think for Unreal. -

Made some updates and added a bit more character. I have a particle system spawning meteors outside but they're coming through kind of dark so I'm going to play around with getting those a bit more visible. Thoughts? -

you could even change the leather for cloth wraps, and have a little bit of blood stain.. it would contrast well, and would add to the grungy feel of it. like the owner has seen some messed up stuff, and done most of it. hehe. -

Yeah, the low poly curvature is the first thing that strikes my eye. Gas sign needs some water staining, or similar (compared to amount of metal rust below). Not sure if Wookie bumpersticker fits here, and Arabic rapper (?) image below. -

It's coming, it's coming. Looking fantastic, get it in zBrush already! I wanna see all that rust, and dinged metal, and scratches, and sloppy weldings, and stain run, and loose bolts, and odd sized rivets, and bird shit. There better be bird shit. :poly127: -

thanks, i'll be sure to check out nDo2. What kind of theme are you going for? If your going for a more scary look. Something like dead space would be cool. Darker, some blood stains, broken pipes. Stuff like that
