I've tried creating destructible trees for Unreal.. Your best bet is to try using Apex destructible meshes as you can determine exactly the break points and the apex actor can be setup so it can take more damage and how the chunks fly off.
We have a damage model! MInigun explodes the drone, and laser beam slices through them. What's left to do though - add more variations to the sliced models and some cool FX. Your browser does not support HTML5 video! https://i.imgur.com/seYco8s.gifv
Well for starters, there's some obvious mirroring on the front side of the magazine, it wont be visible if it's put in a FP view but in renders it's pretty obvious. From what I can see; there's a small scratch and some edge damage (created by ddo) that needs some reworking. e: this part:
id actually rather avoid zbrush as i never properly worked with it before, as for ndo, im not sure how to add the damage so i get nice normals for the texture. that predator is awesome, ive also seend your work on the stormblade, your models are amazing.
I think at Splash Damage we're always striving for that sort of art. I know artists here don't cut down on quality when they're making stuff to go into the game... Just look at that Futuristic City and then maps like Founders Tower from Brink.
Probably can be repaired if it's not the panel, try searching for your monitor model online. You can also try touching the borders of your monitor and apply some pressure on it (not too much or you'll damage it) to see if it stops glitching like that, it may be a faulty cable connection.

[ QUOTE ] A used ford has depreciated because it's a physical object that degrades. A videogame or DVD is a digital medium that is still exactly like the new version. You're analogy is severely flawed. [/ QUOTE ] digital media that comes in a physical housing to be fair. That housing can be damaged easily.
I like the texture very nice, The metal feels like metal. Not sure about the wood, seems too glossy, but it might be me. You might want to make it look more like this. Give a bit of more damage and a little more color variation. Alex
Day 14 So I need to finish this someday and I'm trying to do this. Gave some details to the Frame part and started making damages to Reciever and Bolt parts(actually don't like that scratches on black paint). Also re-made facture on the Frame.
