This is actually my very first personal Unity scene and project, but because I am just learning Unity3D I created a scenario and experiment rather than a real or complete game. My basic ideas were to do something in unity that I know how to do in flash and just to play with a theme that I like (grid based board alike game…
Thanks everyone I talked with my fam and I decided that I will go to the Uni for a BA. For future people who may find this thread having the same questions I did, I'll list the reasons - chance to be cool with people that share my goals, I never met anyone in my life that actually looks at me and knows what I'm talking…
Thanks for the comments guys. Maybe I could try it with treads at the end but I think I am okay with the wheels right now. I already have it all UV mapped and ready for texturing. The model is just under 9000 (perhaps I should add a few more :p ) polygons. I have tweaked the proportions to try to keep it consistent with…
Lift itself was bought for $2200. We cut the holes in the concrete with a rented concrete cutter. I welded up a pretty crazy wire mesh for the concrete using rebar bought at Home Depot, since the bolts are welded to that framework. We rented a concrete mixer trailer and filled the holes back in, then lifted the two legs up…
I'll definitely work on making the tub look more interesting, some WIP updates, added pipes and chairs and other blocked in objects, worked on the pump mechanism for the tub (thought I still could use more I think personally, thoughts?) Also one thing that I really really suck at is lighting, so any c&c on that would be…
beartraps: cheers man ^^ for that tactical dude, vest and shoes were largly done in maya, just detail in zbrush (things always end up blobby for me otherwise :\ ), rest is from cubes or whatever's quickest :P Muzz: awsome points dude, ty. Thinned the legs and calves a decent bit, i definitley see what you mean about the…

The project is paid, remote, and freelance/contract-based. Immediate start preferred. What I'm Looking For.…
Hello! I'm a 3D student searching for 3D classes in Canada, specially but not only, in the Toronto area. I found this course in Humber College called 3D MODELLING AND VISUAL EFFECTS PRODUCTION, but could not find any information about the class program, students or ex-students portfolio or opinions about the course. Which…
I am modeling in Blender to use the meshes in UE5. The walls and cliffs that bound the scene should be made with a plane with displacement (high poly baked into low poly) or should it be a 3d object? I am talking about meshes that we will only see from one face, we will not be able to go around them. A plane would mean…
Wow it looks fantastic. I love the purple-ish black ground. I'd love to see a tank in the scene. Yes, I think that is what Tokyo needs: tanks. Nothing could be more accurate than large cartoonish tanks.
