Nice idea. Very generous of you! One day I hope to be able to the same. I still hoard my tutorial folder in hopes that one of my friends will randomly pick up 3D art and I can excitedly throw everything at them at once.
I just use good folder naming, and XnView for browsing. XnView has a tagging function, but I never bothered to use it since that would require adding all those tags in the first place. Some image browsers here http://wiki.polycount.com/CategoryTools#Image_Browsing_Software
This max retopo script is damn powerful and easy to use. The coolest thing is that it uses the basic modeling tools of max (so shortcuts that we always use). No doubt I'll use this script for the retopo of my DWIV character and place it in my "essential max's tools" folder
When you have shadowbox turned on, expand Tools: TextureMap and click the thumbnail to import your texture. You should edit your image in photoshop to have it follow the included SBRef.PSD template (mine is in the ZBrush 4R5\ZTools folder, but I'm not sure if that's the default location)

Check your UDK installation udk/binaries/actorx/maya/Maya2009_x64 There are all the plugins for the supported programs there. There is a specific folder for maya 2009 64bit, as rapture said some of the links on the UDN site are broken files (had the same thing for maya 2010 64bit version)
Get dropbox.. Put everything you want on the netz in the public folder (I have a sub with PC stuff) and then right click for public link.. It's the easiest way possible, and it's lossless.. Pretty much. Aaaaand.. I'll be able to see your pictures.. It's blocked right now..
Pior, did you close PhotoShop while you installed the new version? Can you please go to your plugins folder, and check that the version of mouseHook.8li is 13.9.13? If it is, then could you please send me your LNP logs? (check the README.txt for their location)
