saw this the other night. pretty cool. kinda scary too. dont think i'll ever eat mentos and drink diet coke together. a replacement for the old soda + Pop Rocks myth
You totally stole my idear-Lion-O would be all deshevled coming out of freeze for twenty years. He'd probably react to it all like a ten year old, too.
actually I think that he uses a photohop Action he made to overwrite the old file, and 3dsmax update the texture in real-time. So I think it must work on maya too.
The old timey barrel/crate/lamp seems out of place with the rest of the assets, every thing has kinda of a futuristic flair to them. The plants look great and the lighting/post looks good too.
Awesome man, the results are brilliant I will defo keep trying it out. Thanks for answering the questions too man, I know the post is a few years old so really big thanks for that :D
Always so ispirational your work... I hoped to find some old videos of you working on that streaming channel :( It's true your signature is too big probably? :O Keep it up! please *_*
found an old doodle that still needed some textures and a Toolbag render, I had plans with this but it didn't came out looking like I wanted it too, so now its just a prop : /
The old fashioned appliance look is pretty nice looking(and it could potentially work well for Clock), but you might want to lose the "hook" logo as it will probably be too blurry due to being a tiny detail.
Just dusting off the old gears with World Machine, its been about 6 months since I've used it. Just going over splats and layered effects. Nothing too crazy or exciting
When you say runs fine now...does it actually boot to windows? (can you hear the hard drive reading as you would normally?) My old computer had a similar glitch (at least in behavior). The motherboard "overheat feature" would sometimes revert back the cpu speed to default clock. Which was odd because i never overclocked…
