I'd use Google Drive, Dropbox, or some other online backup and file sharing service for large projects. You can't find a better and cheaper site for a simple portfolio with full control over your site than hole in the wall. I barely use any of the storage space anyway. It's easy and cheap to expand it if I ever need to. -

this is really cool and good news! Although i think ill be on the polycount side/team this year. I havent really visited this site during big comps, so i think ill see wat other artist are doin over here. Should be a good experience to meet new artist on this site. Caint wait sounds fun!!! -

@tristamus: It is currently available on Packts site, Amazon, at Barnes and Nobles, and a few other book stores. I may be mistaken but I think it is cheapest from Packt's site. @Alkogolic: Yeah, that's one of the reasons I wrote it. It should be a one size fits all book. Beginners and experts should be able to get useful… -

I suppose that is true. My concern is that beginner content will just be rapidly buried like it is on portfolio sites. Places like artstation have so much nice art being submitted, things that don't stand out in a thumbnail get lost quickly. I guess artstation and similar sites serve a different purpose so that may not… -

He didn't give the URL, but I think when he was talking to Elijah Wood about all of the strange web-sites dedicated to Gollum and Frodo, Conan mentioned that there is a site that is dedicated to user-submitted artwork of him fighting a bear . Can't see blue text on black background very well. Try to keep your site all one style. It looked like I was visiting 3 or 4 different sites because none of them were the same... Ditto on what everyone else has posted as well. The resume was very hard to read with the font color you chose.
