in MR there's little to no difference in speed if you are rendering locally. If you do DBR, I think the size will probably make more of a difference depending on your available bandwidth.

I took a 3 year game dev course at a local college (Durham College) where we did it all. Animation, modelling, texturing, udk. That was the extent of it for me.
It's probably a good idea to include where you live (not necessarily full address, but at least which metro area), so that people can tell if you're local to them or not.
