Relax a bit. You got the job. It's a junior position. They should not expect you to be a well-rounded badass who can do most everything. Once you are there, you will find out what you need to learn next. They should assume that you will be learning new stuff with some of your time, especially at the start. As Slipsius…
obviously a minor point given the thrust of this thread but this kind of sweeping generalization reminds me of another recent thread about programmers. its weird. programmers are not a different breed of people. you don't need autism to do it, don't need advanced degrees, don't need to fret about relaxed grammar any more…
What do your UVs look like with a UV checker applied? I don't see a particularly clear view of your textures in that first image - the wireframe overlay is hiding all of the details. At first glance I'd assume your UVs need relaxed. If that isn't the cause of this problem, you'll likely want to clear history and reset…
Wow holy arrogant , hey buddy relax. There is a wiki go through that and learn a lot of concepts. You need to practice every day if you want to get better, not just in modeling but in concepts as well. You posted 3 times in 1 day and just complained , why would anyone help you over that ? This forum is for artist to help…
The black deformations on the color are from normal inaccuracies. Make sure your normals are facing outwards. I don't know which program you are using, but both 3ds max and Maya have options to relax the normals, which is what I think you need. The sleeves are way to bulky, and the creasing looks like someone is blowing a…
Just a quick screenshot of my progress. (I apologise for the low quality.. Will update with better quality soon) UVs are done and Gradient map is baked (Might change when I start texturing, though) I was not a fan of her low poly face, so switched over to Maya 2015 and re-did it there.. which definitely helped as Maya 2014…
hi try and try and repeat on some works for 2-3 times make more control on softs and perfectionism for your work output, you can see yourself and also need to spend sufficient time to understand the basics and improve with other options available but give sufficient time to digest the content in brain else overload can…
Alright, here's after a bit of tweaking. I separated their run cycles by one more frame and relaxed the front guy's run to more of a jog. Does that help? I went ahead and uploaded a more Dota-like angle, too. I feel like things look a little messy from up front, but are more readable from Dota's perspective. I'm probably…
Thought I'd start off with the last two things I made a few days ago. I'm trying to increase my sculpting speed so I did a couple 2-3 hours sculpts to try and achieve this. A couple critiques I received was that the posing was weird, which I can totally see after the fact. For my future attempts I'll relax them more. Do…
Well, another super busy week...(and I thought I was going to have a nice relaxing summer)...yeah, right! Anyhow, here are some new tracks that are intended for faster-paced puzzle games, but would work for other things I'm sure. They are on my new Puzzle Music 2 page: "Puzzle Action" (Looping) "Puzzle Action 2" (Looping)…
