This isn't the case. Developing tools is expensive, and developing engines even more so, which is why licensed engines like UE3 often win out when the intended product can be catered for by them. Here's an update. I'm going to redo the blade panelling as I made 18 blades, which isn't divisible by 360 degrees, so I get uneven offsets. I'll change the geoemtry to 16 blades, and nudge the panels so that they all align together. -

Yes i was using 4k, i switched to 2k textures and i can see all the parameter changes instantly. Thank you @Scruples I guess i have to switch to atleast a 3GB card to use 4K, will upgrade when newer models are available in India. Here is my dxdiag screenshot, @Jerc , driver version - 365.19 whql -

I'm getting D3 for 360 for free. I believe it will be more of what I was hoping for from the PC version. It will be nice to lie on my bed and play it on the TV with a controller rather than have to sit at my PC to play. -
