Oh yah, that works too. Ha ha, I don't know why I assumed you were in Z-brush, but since you're in a modeling program, . . might as well model. It looks a lot better
Thx @lotet . For now the hair is a blockout just fibermesh from Z to see how it could work on the lowpoly. I will create them from scratch next and I hope they will have a good thickness.
Cage not big enough? too big? too small? I'm seeing what looks to be some z-fighting on some of your high poly geo. What is that? BTW what program are you using to bake?
Have you checked if you have overlapping faces in your mesh? These create z-fighting artifacts. By the way, the "High Quality" Viewport Renderer is not supported anymore, better use Viewport 2.0 or standard OpenGL...

[vv]69966246[/vv] Recently I have been tweaking the giraffe run for a few evenings :) its a bit faster, with more weight and generally more alive as a creature. Would love some feedback Z
thanks, snake. some weird dreams lately) Started to watch zClassroom movies, as i need basics with Z's crazy interface. Maaaan, Sculptris is so much easier than zBrush, it's less powerful though.
Well you can just select them all and click with the right mouse button and convert to editable poly, this will colapse everything. Export it and ctrl + z so you don't lose your layer stacks.
Try selecting the polygons that are not the supporting edge and use the planar button. Just flop between X Y Z and undo 2/3 that won't work. Because right now the area looks a lil wonky.
Hey guys here's the latest! I finished the grey box so tell me what yo think! Ill be working on a Little Sister on the side for him and also getting into the z brush faze next
