Yeah, I mean, I've been playing way too much Dota and I can't tell where the custom part starts and the default one ends. Silhouette is incredibly important and right now silhouette wise she looks the same as if she was naked. Hope that helps ^^
Hi Hawkes ! Nice work there. But there another thing I would like to add on is the material definition. Different material should be able to identify from far even without the aid of spec and gloss map. Your models are lacking in this. One example is from art of Luke Starkie

Fidelity yes. Scale...mmm likely not. This is for a miniatures game so, 28mm? My concern isn't whether the crap will be visible with the naked eye, but how it will affect the printer. And no I have not yet asked the print company for an analysis...been trying to get it as 'finished' as I can before I submit it.
You might want to post just the naked body first. If the body doesn't look right, putting armors on top isn't gonna fix it. might as well hide her hair too. I think there's something going on with her face. And her lips and chin are not helping you either.
Looking awesome Luke. Consider knocking the cavity/convexity maps back a ton though esp the convexity...at the moment all your materials have a chalky white highlight around them, I would use that more in the hardsurface spec than the diffuse mister and let the lighting carry the highlight.
Unless you're modeling a fully naked character, you'll have quite a few places where you can split the mesh into various subtools in order to get even more subdivisions out of them. Other options include local subdivision, local retopology with zremesher, and the edgeloop tool + relax.
awesome dude.. this is luking great .. just a little suggestion, just in case you wanna add more character to him, may be you can pump out the chest just a lill bit and very little push-in the belly, it might luk more heroic after that .. rest all great !!
