Last week our Team dropped some art onto ArtStation and wanted to share it up on here! https://vimeo.com/218501497 Here is the full list of artists on our Team that contributed to the Art Blast: https://magazine.artstation.com/2017/05/blizzard-entertainment-heroes-storm-art-blast/ Enjoy!
Saw this on my LinkedIn feed. Thought it was a nice explanation of LODs for making seemingly-dense forests. The solutions for overdraw are nothing new, but still quite valid and useful. Anyhow, enjoy. http://phos.ph/2017/11/21/creating-dense-foliage-in-vr-part-2/

@Yoji I fixed all the links and revived all the the horrible trash from years ago *cringe* I might start updating here again soon. Here is a dump of 2017/2018 and some of 2019?
Is that the exact code you're using? I tried it and it works like it should in Max 2017, it removes ALL leading "o" "_" characters from the string. Box001 = Box001, _Box001 = Box001, o_Box001 = Box001 and __oooo___Box001 = Box001.
Any idea if it's possible to create them by painting in 3D Coat by any chance? Don't really want to keep SP installed just for this. There's also a flow map painter standalone: http://teckartist.com/?page_id=107
Ninja Dojo works in Maya LT. I have not tested all functions but the ones i have tested worked fine in LT. Ninja Dojo should work in version 2014 - 2017 of Maya LT.
Isn't ipackthat now unsupported? It's also slow - unfold 3d is super fast. Unfold3d has been integrated (partially) into maya since 2017 so I'd say quite a lot of studios are taking advantage of it.
Here's some wip scupts of some of the characters, I'm building up the rough shape so crit welcome My main blog for MA https://charllaycock.wordpress.com/2017/04/23/character-concepts-for-preproduction/
Thx, using "retargeting" keyword gave me some great pointers to go on learning. I was also looking at this video for Maya 2017 Update 3 about bake deformer tool, which looks promising.
