Really solid likeness. Loving the jacket, too. For the pants, I'd suggest making them a lot baggier. The shoes work, but iirc in the books (and some sections of the film) they have makeshift plastic bag covers over their shoes. I might be wrong, though.
there's a setting for motion blur in the particle properties iirc, might be you just need to untick that to get them rendering the same? have you tried the other viewport renderers? high quality and viewport 2.0? they're not perfect but might be what you want
Oh yeah well if you have little experience with painting, it's worth practicing a lot on other things first. I find painting stuff IRL much more enjoyable than computer work nowadays, so perhaps you might as well.
ok folks 2 questions 1. will you need one if you've got a crappy monitor (those TN panels)? 2. wouldn't use the icc file from http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/icc_profiles.htm save you $$$ instead of buying one yourself?
Quick Update, Changed the initial lunge to a arc, started cleaning up some of it. added in a quick constrain to the thread to show it attaches to the enemies, though this doesn't look to good. https://syncsketch.com/sketch/17d009553a74/#322302 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DlLF0N_nfg
Sorry if I came off as a bit rude, bad thread titles are a bit of a pet peeve. If you do a search you might find the other thread about making custom primitives, IIRC there's a plugin or a script that lets you do this easily.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the Length function is not available on the iOS, so they would need to calculate it manually? IIRC, this is how it would be; Length = Square Root (X^2 + Y^2 + Z^2) Correct me if I'm wrong.
There are some really peculiar matchups later in the series - I think the solider is for the green beret vs. spetsnaz episode. The real 'jump the shark' episode coming up is IRA vs. Taliban. Can't imagine who they'll get to be the pro-Taliban team...
What the?! Mainframe sold the rights to the Reboot franchise? Does this mean that they are never going to finish the storyline that was in production? The last story arc ended on an enormous cliffhanger. Will this re-imagining of the series mean that they aren't going to finish where they left off? Whats going on?!
..from the waist down, she reminds me of a Joan of Arc.. I'd put a head and hands on her (even just blocks) to help the overall posture. The feet look too flat (no instep) and a little small,. Widen the toes + ball of the foot too.
