Inhibition of natural hormones and liver damage? Rage? Shrinking testicles? ...some sick stuff in the p&p lately though yea. The blend between film and game artists must also have had an affect on the massive amount of artists in the forums lately.
looks cool for now, Things i would recommend are, To show damages in the nose area as well. Its kinda too prefect now.May be you can show like a piece of the nose is gone! The to retopologize the low poly,as some of the polys are kinda looking messy.
Hey, the rest of the building is so broken and damaged, make sure to break the roof a little in order to break up that straight perfect line. Maybe throw some sand hills in front of the house to break up those straight lines as well.
the kind of layout of the first (run down) building, Caldo cafe and a barbers shop. Woking on the layout of the pavement with splines. Roads in England aren't always straight so a spline is the best way Kind of a rough idea of the damage. Brown is wood, green is moss/ foliage, pink is broken and red lines are like tubes…
Hehe. I do all my detailing in Painter. Haven't gone to Zbrush for hard-surface stuff for bakes in quite a while. ;) Here's a WIP from a weapon I did a while back. All the wood damage is 'sculpted' by hand in Painter.
You wanna uniquely wrap buildings? Looking at god of war, they had fantastic results with using pretty low res geo, putting tiling textures and then put a damage normal decal on the edges. Looks very good and keeps the res up.
REFERENCE I mixed these two high intesity lights to make my own version. i also added a mount. i still have some tinkering to do. i want to add some detail and damage. WIREFRAME HIGHPOLY WIP
congrats adam this really turned out great. does the original clay model get damaged in the mold making process? the painting on his eyes, lips, and the blood is disgustingly good! this would make a lovely centerpiece for your dining room table :)
If I give you this so called axe would you be able to chop few trees ? Looks to me that at best you could damage some of tree bark ->> you need more axe blade , function should drive design
I love it! Awesome work! The only beef I have is that the cracks repeat a bit too much. you could probably create some crack decals or work out a blend material and make that kind of damage a bit more random?
