Scroll down on that site and you'll see it bundles together a few tools. Actually, their screenshots are in reverse order, they don't match the headlines, ha! The left one belongs to the tool on the right, and vice versa. It looks like your exporter does convert to DDS for you, if you enable that option. I wonder that… -

yea, if it's just turning the model black and not the entire screen (which was what I was thinking). Though the lights should never be touched or affected at all by the emissive texture setup. What was the texture setup like? ie were diffuse/normal/spec enabled at all or was it just fullbright and emissive? which sounds… -

@istaro Hey mate what you have to do is put your height map in the displacement field under height in marmoset, it will come out looking pretty crazy so lower the scale down a bit, then enable subdivision right above it and either one of the options will work, that should give you what you/re looking for. :) -

Hey! I down the file and i did a bake in Xnormal and then i added the Normal Map into XoliulShader 2(max 2011 64 with qualified normals enabled) and got the same obvious seams problems. After that I made a bake in max using RTT assist and and used Xoiliul shader 2, and here is what i got. -

Yes, you can. In fact, this is the recommended setup by Epic for mobile games to only need 2 textures for an asset: 1 - Base colour in RGB channel - Roughness in Alpha channel(metalness is a scalar node) 2 - Normal map Alpha channel is recognised as linear data and auto-interpolated so you would leave sRGB enabled. -

I would recommend working with Backface Culling enabled (viewport menu, Shading > Backface Culling) so you can see immediately when an extruded, lofted, or other surface's normals are backwards. If you find any flipped normals this way, you can use Normals > Reverse to flip them right side out. -

It's alpha sorting, and not the greatest in Maya. As far as having this look right in Maya for now I would say make 2 materials one with transparency enabled, and one without. Then apply the shader with transparency only to the objects that need it and vice versa. If the wind vane is the only thing using an alpha, probably…
