i would have loved to but they either gave me an incorrect eval key or i am simply too stupid to figure out how to set up the licensing manager. common problem in unix from what i gathered it's not as strong as studiopaint in actual painting but is more of a mix of photoshop and 3d painter functionality in one interface.
thanks for the info guys, the project itself doesn't need to be next gen quality, it has to look acceptable that's all, a while back i was looking at blender's game engine, but got kinda turned off by the interface @EarthQuake : can you really make a game using ue3? i thought it just made levels for unreal?
After some sculpting, I gave the Handplane software a go for the first time. Textures came out as expected for a first bake, and I like the user interface! The AO felt like it took longer than expected, but I should probably do a proper comparison to confirm that. I look forward to continue using it to finish this project!
you mean your dragging a "<ModifierName> Modifier" macro from the Customize User Interface onto a part of the UI? Most of them have icons, but I guess you talking about 3rd party Modifiers which might not. You can right click on the added buttons and select "Edit Button Appearance" and select an icon.
[ QUOTE ] id like to know if anyone knows a cheatsheets (printable) for max, and are there any extra short cuts that the splash doesnt show? [/ QUOTE ] Customize --> Customize user interface --> Write keyboard chart (you'll see it below where its hard to see PS: thanks to you discreet to make this option invisible for…
Your website is confusing as fuck to use. A simple page with a bunch of thumbnails all you need. The current method with hovering over the images to get a list of images is awkward and doesn't look that good. Focus on making an easy to update website with a minimal amount of interface. You want your work to shine through,…
I have a garmin nuvi as well. Pretty good stuff. Though sometimes it takes a ridiculously long time to connect to the satellites, and I've seen others have the same issue. Someone told me it's just Austin but I don't know for sure. Other than that it has an awesome interface and is a pretty cool little gadget!
That's because its 6-7 years old? Besides most of the features have been rolled into 3dsmax. The only ones I can think of that have not, are the align, and space evenly. But there are tons of other scripts out there that do that without a bulky cumbersome interface... I loved chugnutts tools but, I'm afraid that ship has…
Melee is too perception oriented to pull it off well in 1st person. You would have to be able to move your head separate from your arms and such. I personally prefere melee combat in 3rd person perspective. Maybe in the future with eye tracking and such interfaces it can be done very well in 1st person aswell.
Again- .Env files are NOT only for envelopes. They store per-vertex weights if the vertex has been hand-weighted at all. I don't use envelopes either- .env files save vertex weights. I wouldn't be surprised if skin or die uses Max's save and load .env functionality but just wraps it into its interface.
