Bad luck man, I know how frustrating stuff like this can be. The freezer idea sounds a bit nuts to me too, but then so does liquid cooling. And if it's worked for Pyromania a few times it may be worth a shot, although I'd leave it as a final, abandon all hope resort myself. Not too sure if it would help in your case…
