Avs lost tonight so I had to drown my sorrows in some zBrush. Got some of the armor blocked out and now to do some planning for the rest of the body. Cheers.
I would perhaps tint the bakelite to a slightly ruddier brown, it feels a bit too red compared to your ref but that doesn't detract from the model too much.....beautiful work.
Great concept :) I like the color palette, its a bit similar to my Ekko ^^ except for the brown/orange color of the big cat. I'll look forward for more of this character
Final update before I move onto retopology. After that, I'll definitely be making a Browning Hi-Power. Thanks for all of the critiques and responses. Any more input will be worked on, for sure.
Thanks for the feedback! As I work more on my portfolio, I think I will be phasing that piece out. I think I've grown as an artist and it does not represent my current skills.
Interesting statue really like the sharp rocks. Might be interesting if the root type things where actually organic like they have grown up around the statue, just an idea though.
It's not at all, people just need to stop being stupid about what they put online. My way of thinking is, if it's not something you would shout in a crowded mall, it doesn't belong online.
The lighting outside is really starting to come together. For the areas that are really dark, try setting a light to a darker brown or grey color. It will add some light but it wont look overly done.
seems like the dirt/mud brown stuff isn't really layered on there realistically, looks almost like it's been painted on as a decal (assuming we were looking at this vehicle in real life)
