Re: Having trouble baking constraints in Maya
Update: I managed to find some solutions but one still remains. When trying to bake the IK handles down, they screw up and break. No idea why. Both hands hands are constrained to a prop, they should bake out fine. -

If you want a vertical mouse I have a left-hand one I could sell (I switched to right-hand mouse handling last year hence I don't use it anymore). Just let me know. -

My problem is, that i e.g. added 50 keys to the hand and just 2 to the upper arm. Now i select the upper arm to ajust the 2 keys but that's pretty hard because i also see the 50 keys i set to the hand. -
Switching between hard edges?
Thought I'd see what peoples methods are for this. When adding hard edges to sub-d hard edge models I'll usually do them at the end or I'll do them as I go along. If I do them at the end then I cannot see what my model looks like smoothed as I go along. In theory the best way is to place the hard edges on a editable poly… -

What I don't get is why people are letting it slip out of their hand while they're swinging with all their might. Do your hands get that sweaty? Is the remote that hard to grip? Or do they really think the flimsy strap is going to hold it well? -
