Hello, My name is Alex Kolakowski and I am a Character Lead at EA currently. You may have noticed this posting on Artstation but I wanted to make the Polycount community aware of this role as well. Thanks for all the good feed back Jose, my intent is 3d printable statue / sculpture. This is just the progresses that I have done so far. I am going to keep working on the anatomy and defiantly going to work on that fur and hair. Thanks again for the feed back. This is a personal project.
I forgot to update the thread quite a bit. I changed plans and went for the 30mm turret first. Current status: -Completing blockout of the turret. -Starting HP work on some elements -Tackle tracks. (going for Wot/WT style in modeling each link) All still very wip.
nice work! i wanna suggest to add some props to the scene, because it`s feel kinda empty. maybe add some braziers beside of columns and some ancient stylized carpet that will lie on this road to main door. mb replace column near door to some statue of warriors?

Thanks for any and all support both here and on the Aus3D Facebook page!
automatic/procedural/dynamic low poly generation on the fly using material volumes to accuratly simulate material degradation, this is also how you would sculpt, want a stone statue thats been weathered, just apply a granite material volume and get your hard rain brush out
Just remember one thing when you talk about art and commerce: The Sistine Chapel ceiling was a commission job. It is possible, with the right opportunities, to create some 'real art' on the job. It may not happen often, and it certainly won't happen where hackwork is the status quo. But it can, and does. /jzero
