Firebat - thanks for kind words! Tocxeig - thanks man! chaosquack - thanks! Lets rock! Here is updade of my Warhammer AoR fan art. Realtime axe model from original concept art. Added some colours and volume. Hope you like it, cheers!
yeah, i thought this would be some sort of realtime SSS, rorshach. Wow, i thought you picked up some modelleres from somewher for this game. Guess its time that i get into the industry instead of studing to learn all the stuff, like "by the way"
How could I missed this update ?? O_O Nice design dom. And pose is really catching Congratz in showing Killzone. I was waiting for it since i saw the cgteaser ( with a humor announced as a realtime ). Great work dom gratz for U and rest of the team. Good job.
I'm looking forward to it! Hopefully it will be more stable here and there (although I haven't had many crashes recently), and will have better functions for importing/exporting 3d meshes and painting in 3d (such as bringing more brush features from projection master into the realtime 3d painting).
*drool* I was a little worried that big shape in the middle was too plain for its silhouette, but the texture made it all Ay-okay. Is this a realtime screen grab? and if so, what engine? edit*oop I saw you wrote viewport, so I assume max?
I used Maya for 3 years, I've used Max for 5 months and I wouldn't go back For me having a good realtime view of the model is one of the most important things. Max's viewport beats the hell out of Maya's in nearly every way
your best bet would be to move to US and study there as you will have much more opportunities than you would here in Czech Republic. you have the money, go. your portfolio is lacking in realtime characters and is probably the reason you aren't getting replies.
Update Was baked skin, made eyes and eyelashes. Also was setted up a light in the scene. I mean this direction of light. Guys, need your advice. Do you know some good tutorials about making hair for the realtime tharacters? For hair with planes and alphas.
Implying vray offline renders look worse than realtime renderers.. However, the Rome screens do look like stuff you have only seen offline before (and even then..) really fantastic job Gotta get to play the game somehow in the near future >.>
Meanwhile the samaritan demo running on unreal engine 3 also runs in realtime, which is the standards I'd look for in a rendered movie, not the one I've seen in this teaser. But I guess I'll have to give them the biggest benefit of the doubt until the final film is out.
