You have to store a config for it to open on that side. You do it by moving it to the screen you want to use set it the way you want ie: maximized, doc size any other misc settings. When you have it setup the way you want go to preferences/config/store config and it will save. The shortcut to store a config is CNTRL+Shift+I
Yeah, I find most of my books at odd stores that sell all kinds of stuff. I just go in and go to the book section right off. Also, I find that some stores put them in different sections, like you will find the CG Game book in the art section in one store, the computer section the next or the software section in another.
