One solution would be to ignore Youtube and click-thirsty 'content-creators' as much as you can. I'm fully armored when I go on the net and those 'security' whatever bot-detection BS filters do catch me from time to time no matter the settings. Same here. I don't find quick previews of 3d scenes particularly helpful for what I do plus there's the chance that a complex file loads so slow or perhaps not at all that you may as well fire up the DCC to inspect it properly. But I do find it funny that they would disable FBX support and instead try to force this format… -

@ Thane- needing 11.5 hours sleep every day is way above normal and could easily be sign of an underlying illness. i sincerely would recommend you consult a doctor and explain all your symptoms if you are still sleeping that long every day. during college i remember working close to 12 hours everyday which included classes… -

15-30 days is enough. Unless you're away from your pc 12+ hours a day or have extremely bad focus (like me) I learned how to retopo in 3D-Coat in 2 days. Just read the tool descriptions and click stuff. Its only 99$ if you just want to learn with it too.
