At first I also thought the back was front. And a motorcycle. I think part of the issue is the mid looks like a seat. Plus the back looks like it would create wind drag. It's opposite streamline back there.
I hope they keep the motorcycles too, only make them a little nicer to control. I was so excited when I finally had the ability to buy them....that went away quick once I started using one!
This is Zundapp motorcycle for a small contest on Polish forums, texture is 512x512, polycount - 998 tris. I fucked up tire uv-mapping I know :/ Have to fix it. Diffuse+alpha only. Background on first two screenshots is from UDK.
I tried to keep whatever I did art oriented. So I did some custom airbrushing during the year I was laid off. Helmets, motorcycles, rc cars, etc. Kind of fund doing more tangible work, but it was tough.
Awww man, I played this one alot once. Totally loved the style of the game (some of the motorcycles where made in 3d wuut wuut ^^), good story and Ben is super cool. Looking forward to your updates, so far it looks great.
My younger brother has picked up airbrushing for motorcycles and helmets, etc. He linked me to this guy, who actually design an album cover I remember my dad having since I was very young. http://www.rodneymatthews.com/main.htm
Finally got to work on this again. :) Next step will be getting some hard-surface motorcycle body forms down. It's going to be a modified 'sports' vehicle with an akira bike feel. Stickers on the body and attached weapons are attached in a DIY rebel style.

I just ordered one of those crates they bring to your door. Fill it up with everything you want (even a motorcycle sans oil/gas/fluids). Just pack it good and they will have it at the new location in like 3 days.
Hey Ally, wonderful sketchbook! I love the evolution from page one till now. Also love that you re tackling different subjects (organic, hard surface, environment), the motivitation is all there. It's pretty inspiring :) Can't wait to see the finished motorcycle
