It does matter, approach all props with the same level of quality as you would a key item or character and you will go far. Overall it looks good. There's all sorts that it could be. Head/body are usually on their own maps, so that's maybe eight right there if you have diffuse/alpha, normals, spec/gloss, illumination or SSS. Some games go further and have e.g. head/body/arms/eyeball, so it adds up quickly. Hair/fur is sometimes on its own sheet, especially likely if… -

Looks like you're only using a spec and not a gloss map, you may want to plug your current spec into your material as a metalness map. Here's getting to the finishing point. Disturbed by by UV's and bakes, I re-did the low-poly, re-mapped him and re-baked all the parts. Way better bake, way more efficient setup in the end.
