1024px/meter on an environment rock is pretty nuts imho. Is it a hero asset? You could use UDIMs, but I would suggest to go with a single 4k map and bump the visual res with moss decals and painting small foliage on top. -

Battle L.A. was Marines. But the clothing and gear should be REALLY easy to come by on the net. What are you looking for exactly. They carry many different things depending on the role. I will ask a friend for some good modern reference. Email sent. -

i'm on a much older version than you but - have you restricted it from net access? when starting up it seems to try to phone home and if that fails, it'll sit there for a bit. never 5 - 8 minutes here though. -

Made a robot arm in 3ds max. Just the high-poly model. I'm going to try and take something a bit simpler to completion. Also, started another project based on a concept I found on the net. Still a work in progress.
