I tried grid as an alpha brush it works partially but I can't match consistent look any options in z brush to apply an alpha as one go for the whole mesh automatically?
Rule of thirds and golden ratio grid overlays would be great imo. Also an easy way to set the window size to the same ratio as your render output? I.e. for portrait renders.

Closest thing I can think of is Snaps' Rubber Band. Customize > Grid and Snap Settings > Options > Display Rubber Band. ...but your snaps toggle is off. I dunno man.
