I have been really terrible about keeping my stuff updated on here. Things got hectic with the doing the dissertation. I have now, after lots of revision and help from someone at Unreal, managed to get that Assassins Creed style pushing aside the NPCs. I've used ray tracing to detect the proximity to the player as it is…
Overall port is not bad, though I agree with the scaling and lightwave. Please ditch both. Lightwave takes for ever normally, and just makes viewing clunky and slow. Look at other ports and see how they go about the posting of bigger close up shots. As for high poly, I disagree with CarlK3D. There is no need to do extra…
Near the end of the arc things start to pick up again, and the next arc is kinda interesting. The problem is that they adapted it pretty much 1:1 from the manga, where the narration was kind of necessary. What they should've done is done more showing and less telling. It has always bugged me that you can't see a preview of a tga file with the windows explorer in XP. Is there a way to make it show them like it does a jpg? Alex
EarthQuake: Basically I made a low poly model in Maya, and then sculpted on it in Zbrush, and now I am trying to take that high resolution sculpt back into Maya and apply it to the low res mesh. Which I did in the pictures. I just want it to look normal, how it looks similar to the high res version in zbrush. Except I am…
I've been trying to get props into cry 3.5.3 but the cgfs don't show up in engine. The cgf seems be be exporting from max fine and are in the right directory. I've gotten the dll from their website, downloaded the editor again, and manually put the tools plugins into the right folders. Any ideas?…
