the ground is flat and ugly. which i guess it really is in a location like this. but still try and add more variation if you can. add some farm equipment. if the place is run down type- do some damage to it.
Some more progress on Medusa Mk II. The sculpt is mostly finished aside from the tail and some damage/fine detail. Getting a bit sick of looking at her at this point, but I've started so I'll finish!
Whoa, super cool! This really seems like it'd make a great smash-'em-up/Rampage style environment! Shepeiro hit it on the head with the destroyed/damaged texture suggestion as well :) Oh, and thanks for the Sketchfab scene!
Obviously try and break up the same arches besides adding those large ones in-between. Perhaps some distinct damage or colours. You're doing well, the painting aspect immediately makes me think of MMO.
Looking great! I remember playing this back in the day. For measurements I always go on isometric/orthographic. Perspective just skews it a bit. I think it could work. Just colour it right and add a heap of damage to it!
Wow that diffuse texture looks amazing. It really sells the metal. It has alot of different kind of bumps, scuffs, and dings. Was it alot of like perfect photo sources images to get the damage or was some of it painted? Or a combo of them?
I think game companies would be more interested in your work if you damaged your assets. A lot of today's games are post-apocalyptic and war zones themed. GOW, COD, Fallout, Uncharted (crumbling cities).
Blown away! Great work trough out! Hitting that subscribe button. Are the mosaic placed with a vector map? Any takeaways from this one? Could be cool to have a damage parameter to have random tiles fall off.
lotet: the zombies are still mockup so they will get real art and animations as the main character soon. I will try to add a few different death animations as well depending on the weapon and damage they were killed by. Thanks for playing :)
Its looking very good to me! It has a lot of straight edges, something I think is hard to get away from without a lot of pre-planning of damage, natural edges etc.. On the whole an excellent Environment.
